SMG670 Mentorship

Welcome to my SMG670 mentorship site!

I'm Xiaohui Zhang, and I come from the eastern part of China, where is a beautiful coastal city co-hosting the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games. I finished my undergraduate majors in China, which were Spanish and Accounting. After my graduation, I worked in the Sales department with international sales of industrial A/C with Latin America for two years. Then I worked as an assistant in the HR department for three years. After the three-year job in HR, I got my CPA certificate and turned into the Accounting department, and had more opportunities to communicate with others inside and outside the company. The previous work experience helped me grow up and finally, I was promoted to Administrative Manager. Before I went to the Tiffin University, I tried my best to fulfill my duty of the Administrative Manager position for about four years.

This course is a great opportunity to illustrate what I have learned and experienced with the knowledge about sports management. Whether what kinds of jobs I would have, practices in the real world are full of meanings and values for my future career development.

I'm a freshman in the sports industry but I have the passions and faith to change my career track in the field of the sports industry, especially in sports marketing. Because of the two-year study at TU, I have a relatively systematic understanding of the sports industry. I hope I could gain more practical experience, expand my horizon outside the textbook, and own more skills in communicating, organizing, and managing to get a satisfactory offer.
