TIFFIN, OH, Apr. 4, 2021 /PRNewswire/--Tiffin University (TU) today announced that they would open a new Center for Elite Sports & Culture this summer to improve TU’s sports majors professional influence and enhance cross-border communication within sports, culture, and education. As a part of the School of Business, the new Center for Elite Sports & Culture would adopt two formats in daily operation simultaneously: on-site and online. The brick-and-brock center would locate on the campus of TU, where is next to the main classroom building on the side of Miami Street. Because of the negative impact of COVID-19, the exact opening time was not determined but TU estimated it would be around in June or July. Visitors could also have a virtual trip on the center’s home webpage (https://zhangxi390.wixsite.com/smg670mentorship) before opening. 

To offer academic and cross-border development, the Center houses different

programs within the sports area, including but not limited to BS/MS courses in

Sports Management/ exercise/ fitness/ Esports, periodical events such as the

academic travel of the Olympics Academic Experience, Life After Game of the

International Cultural Consortium (ICC), and the Elite Sports & Culture Week.

The Center’s programs provide various opportunities for participants to be qualified for future career life, such as scholarships and certificates in First Aid/CPR/AED/National Strength and Conditioning Association. The professional staff and partners, who are advanced Olympians, Paralympians, professional sports experts, will continuously provide fabulous and market-driven teachings and mentorships in the sports field.
