MISSION

The Elite Sports & Culture Center is part of the School of Business within Tiffin University.

COLE VALUE (THREE PILLARS)

We insist on our core value with three pillars, which means three different dimensions-sports, culture, and education. Despite the three dimensions are different fields, they mutually connect and enhance with each other in some subtle method. We believe the triangle is the most steady shape in the world, as well as our wish of providing a strong future for our students and community for a lifelong time via exploring, studying, and communicating.

  • SPORTS Pillar-Sports makes people healthy both physically and mentally. Regardless of the culture, only a healthy environment can make it flourish. People who live in a community with an enegetic cultural atmosphere will have more willingness and opportunities to receive higher education. In this positive circle, education will combine physical practice with theoretical knowledge to bloom the sports performance and industry.

  • CULTURE Pillar-People who live in different places would generate different cultures, which originated different types of sports. The study could help people to understand the world better, no matter they need to improve performance in games or sports management. Education brings about humanity and humanitarianism in society. As an equally important part of the humanities, sports and culture promote each other in a prosperous community, and neither is indispensable.

  • EDUCATION Pillar-Receiving higher education is one of the best ways to improve the community environment. Athletics, coaches, and administrators could enhance their professional knowledge via continuing study. At the same time, people who get a higher education would be more open-mind to different cultural communication. As a result, open communication brings a positive impact on academic study and sports development.

PROGRAMS

  • Health, Fitness & Wellness (undergraduate) places an emphasis on leadership, excellence, and service to provide the basis necessary for improving the lives of others. Students will learn how to develop skills to design and manipulate regimens to work with healthy or symptomatic individuals, assess psychology and sociological aspects that influence participation in exercise and physical activity, and identify the tools to develop and manage health, fitness & wellness initiatives throughout the lifespan.

  • Exercise Science (undergraduate) is structured to provide students with a solid foundation for understanding how and why humans move. This interdisciplinary program includes courses in the fields of biology, chemistry, and exercise physiology. • Sports Management (undergraduate) is to promote, stimulate, and guide study, research, and professional career development in the area of sport and recreation management (broadly interpreted). A primary component of the program is an integration of theory with practical requirements. You can continue your game at the only university in the world that coordinates the Olympic academic experience. With a strong foundation from classes in sports marketing, facilities design and management, and athlete development, TU students have the chance to travel to the Olympics, partner with the Cleveland Indians, or serve as athletic directors of an NCAA football bowl series team (p.s. This course divides into three directions: Sports Management, Sports Management for Marketing, and Sports Management for Athletics Administration).

  • Sports Management for Esports (undergraduate) focuses on central concepts in competitive video gameplay and identifies the major developments in the business and media surrounding esports. • Sports Management (MBA) is designed to maximize convenience while providing the necessary structure to enhance student's marketability in the industry. Experience and access to sports professionals around the country are what differentiates TU’s MBA sports management program from traditional sport management degrees.
