General Hours / Days You Are Expected to Work

The entire work schedule is relatively flexible during my mentorship. In other words, there is no mandatory task to be completed and I can arrange them as appropriately as possible. Besides, I could experience and re-think my major and future career plan sufficiently. In fact, the mentor work would be completed as the minimum requirement (200 contact hours).

Main Duties

  1. Shoot pictures for games of the Tiffin University Athletics Department periodically.

  2. Participate in real games to understand the normal operation process.

  3. Experience the relationship among games, venues, and spectators at the scene.

  4. Research, filter, and integrate valuable data for various sports management researches.

  5. Gather information about the postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics from China.

  6. Analyze the collected data of the Tokyo Olympics and conduct the final result. 

  7. Design a draft for the coming TU's Elite Sports & Culture Center.

  8. Participant in the online course of USSA for Maternity Wellness.

  1. Learn to be an organizer to plan and run a social or sports activity.

  2. Understand the program planning process and decision-making from the overall picture.

  3. Learn to research, filter, integrate useful information. 

  4. Learn in-depth communication with people, and understand each person comprehensive who involved in a project.

 

Expected Learning Outcomes

  1. Gain skills in in-depth communication and management in real practices.

  2. Make good use of social media and the internet protocol in the application of sports marketing.

  3. Enhance the ability of the on-the-spot.

  4. Expand horizon outside the textbook to be an entry-level talent. 

  5. Learn how to think in others' positions.
