Day 33 Tokyo Olympics postponed impact questionnaire from China's data analysis 1-2

已更新:2021年4月18日

Today I analyzed the entire result from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics postponed impact questionnaire from China. As I explained in the previous journals, because of the negative influence of COVID-19, people should practice at least 6-foot social distance and the traditional papered questionnaire became a little difficult to hand out. I handed out this questionnaire through an online format to my friends and relatives. As a result, the age distribution relatively concentrated on the younger range 26 to 35 with 36.93%. While the rest three groups of age options were fairly even, 18.79% (18-25), 22.03% (36-45), and 22.25% (46+) respectively. Regarding the willingness about attending the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the difference in the answers was weak with 52.27% in Yes and 47.73% in No. In this research, females illustrated more patience to take part in a questionnaire that led to a gender seesaw with a severely unbalanced in 61.12%. Whereas, no matter the age, attending willingness, or gender, more than half of the population (56.67%) prefers to watching games via media, such as traditional TV and emerging online streaming. Only around 6% of participants showed no interest in the Olympics Games that illustrated the Olympics has been a super-successful sports event all over the world. On the section about negative impactors to attend the Tokyo Olympics, the biggest one was the COVID-19 with about 88% in total. People heavily worried about the infection of the pandemic when they traveled to other places, 71.27% in strong agree and 16.85% in agree options, respectively. The second threat was city safety, which occupied about one-third. Except for the titled negative impactors, participants gave other unexpected options, such as the intense political relationship between China and Japan, language barrier, personally disliking Japan, worries about natural disasters.
